I am passionate about the land and the people who occupy it. Helping people find their place in the world through real estate is one of my greatest joys!

Kelli Macatee specializes in the Dallas luxury market, serving all price points. Luxury is a state of mind with the last true luxury being superior service built on a foundation of competence and experience. Her attention to detail and intrinsic drive to exceed all barriers, combined with her desire to fiercely protect the interests of her clients sets her apart. This was what ultimately drew her to The Danuser Rado Group, choosing to dissolve her own team and join forces with Christine Danuser and Julie Rado. After helping Christine and Julie exceed previous volume numbers by $50 million due, it became clear that Kelli had a knack for pouring into agents. When the opportunity arose for her to join the DFW Compass Leadership Team as a Sales Manager, she jumped on it.

Kelli’s West Texas values of hard work, grit, and perseverance combined with her deep love for the land and the people who care for it are what get her up in the morning. At an early age, born in Odessa, Texas she watched her family develop restaurants, apartments, houses, and churches during one of the oil booms, contributing to a thriving community. Later, she watched her mother get started in land development in the Fort Worth area with many of the same players and become a part of over $625 million in very cool real estate projects that continue to serve North Texas populations. Kelli’s family moved to the Park Cities when she was 4 and she grew up playing soccer and other sports all over the DFW metroplex. She has watched the DFW area grow from a small town, surrounded by prairie and ranch land into a booming metropolis as far as the eye can see. The growth and prosperity of the area and helping people find their place in the world of DFW is one of her greatest joys.

After spending the first part of her professional career in marketing, sales, business development and technology she pursued a master's degree in clinical psychology. Ultimately, she couldn’t resist the pull of real estate and got her official start in the business helping her mother as an unlicensed assistant. Once Kelli’s daughter started kindergarten at Armstrong Elementary, her and her husband’s alma mater, Kelli pursued her license and ultimately obtained her Broker’s license. Kelli quickly became a top producer and went onto build a successful team, at one time managing 6 agents. She maintains a Texas Broker’s license and has closed over $50 million in sales between 2018 and 2023.

Kelli grew up in the Park Cities, graduated from Highland Park High School and went on to graduate from the University of Georgia. After a few years in the professional world in marketing and sales, she obtained a masters degree in clinical psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband, Mark, her daughter Jordan, friends and family, reading, learning, researching, exercising, and being out in nature. She has served over the years in various capacities with amazing organizations like Park Cities Presbyterian Church, ROD Ministries (a men’s prison ministry), EQUIP (homeless prevention), PCPC Urban Missions, World Missions, NOVO, North Texas Crime Commission, Dallas Summer Musicals, and more!

  • Why Compass?

Compass is truly a phenomenal company and force in the real estate market and growing in very important ways. Making the move from my previous brokerage house to Compass was a very torturous decision because I loved where I was. I researched and labored over the decision for weeks. But when I was finally able to remove all the emotion and simply compare the business aspects, the decision was crystal clear. Not even a contest. Once I made the move, my overhead became 1/4th what it was at my previous brokerage. That is significant, especially when you’re a small business owner. Even bigger than that, the way I could serve my clients was astronomically better. Keep reading HERE for more on why the Compass tools are such a big deal and why they are 10 years ahead of everyone else.

  • The Importance of Work

Humans are designed to sow their gifts and abilities out into the world. We become very disillusioned and unfulfilled when we are not working in some capacity. There is a great fallacy in our culture that if I have money, I don’t need to work. We must come to value hard work and not abhor it or do all we can to avoid it. Not only is it a very important tool in the human experience, but it is a key pathway to true fulfillment.

Money and work effects everyone. In the Bible, if you don’t work you don’t eat. There is a direct correlation between work and the ability to eat and be fulfilled and satisfied, but modern culture has largely perverted this notion and we’ve lost sight of the value of hard work. Can we find our way again? Yes!

  • Health & Wellness are Critical!

It’s critical to be your own health advocate. For me, good health habits are vital to my work. But my gifts are in real estate, not fitness. And I wouldn’t call myself a foodie either—I eat to live I do not live to eat. THANKFULLY my sister is a certified health coach and my husband is a true Foodie. It takes a village and their gifts help me and mine help them! As I have bandwidth, I’ll share some of the health resources I’ve collected over the years in case they are helpful to you!
